‘AA - BRCGS’ Accreditation - A Globally Recognised Standard that’s Constantly Maintained
Year after year TTS maintains its ‘AA – BRCGS’ accreditation; the highest rating awarded by the ‘Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standard (BRCGS). However, why is this so important and what does it mean for your business?
BRCGS, part of the ‘British Retail Consortium,’ is the most relevant and important trade association for all UK retailers. It represents a programme that ensures high levels of care and compliance for storage (both in warehouses and whilst in transit) of food, food packaging, packaging materials and food consumer products.
Given the exceptionally high standards required to gain such accreditation, BRCGS status should be at the very top of any manufacturers or suppliers (involved in the food industry) ‘wish list’ when looking to appoint a new integrated logistics partner!
“AA-gold standard is the highest possible rating you can get and the audit process is rigorous. The work required to adhere to the latest legislation and to maintain our double A accreditation is continuous with regular staff training and daily checks involving a multitude of aspects relating to both our warehouses and vehicle fleet.
Regardless of whether you’re in the food related industry or not, TTS’s level of accreditation sends out a clear message to any business looking for an integrated logistics partner. It demonstrates our commitment to delivering the highest possible levels of quality and service.”

BRCGS has been recognised as a global standard and benchmark for over 25 years.
AA represents ‘outstanding compliance’ with the most stringent criteria having been met to ensure the integrity and safety of food and food related products throughout the supply chain.
Although BRCGS requires an annual audit, staff training is a constant along with daily checks to ensure all standards / requirements are met.
There are 226,000 logistics companies in the UK. However, there are only 28,000 BRCGS certified companies across130 countries….. and even less with AA accreditation!
